Service questions clients ask us most

What's the difference between accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation?

+

Bookkeeping records day-to-day transactions. Accounting turns those records into accurate financial statements and helps you understand them. Tax preparation is the year-end filing — and it goes much smoother when the first two have been done correctly all year.

Can I bundle bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes with one firm?

+

Yes. Most of our clients use us as a single team for monthly accounting, payroll oversight, tax compliance, and advisory. One team, one source of truth, no finger-pointing between providers.

Do you work with QuickBooks Online and Desktop?

+

Yes. We're certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors in both QuickBooks Online and Desktop, and we can help you choose, set up, clean up, or migrate between them.

How often will we meet or talk?

+

For most monthly-accounting clients we deliver financials within 10–15 business days of month-end and hold a quarterly review. Outside of that we're responsive year-round — not just at tax time.

Are your services billed hourly or as a flat monthly fee?

+

Ongoing engagements (monthly accounting, payroll, tax compliance) are usually a fixed monthly fee so the bill is predictable. Project work — cleanup, transactions, special analysis — is scoped and quoted up front.

What size businesses do you work with?

+

Most of our business clients fall between roughly $500K and $50M in annual revenue, though we also serve smaller specialty practices and larger insurance agencies. The common thread is owners who want a real CPA partner, not just a tax preparer.
